Read the clock. Break the attack.
Enemies pick a move, lock it in and charge toward execution. Two-stage ATB. Draft the skills to interrupt the one that kills you. There is no mana: powerful skills run on cooldown cycles. The timeline is the fight.
A turn-based dark-fantasy party roguelite
The expedition descends. The abyss answers.
Lead four heroes into the caves under Vekarra. Time stops when you choose. Most enemy attacks show on the timeline before they land: draft the skills to interrupt the killing blow, with no XP and no mana. Fallen heroes stay down unless you pay their ransom. Lose all four and the run ends.
The game
Beneath the fishing town of Vekarra, mines and pilgrim caves open into the Abyss: a wound with a hunger and a ledger. You take four adventurers on seeded expeditions. Every route, draft and corpse changes the run.
Enemies pick a move, lock it in and charge toward execution. Two-stage ATB. Draft the skills to interrupt the one that kills you. There is no mana: powerful skills run on cooldown cycles. The timeline is the fight.
A company of four heroes. Draft skills after victories, upgrade them from one to three stars at camp, buy relics and supplies, and adapt to seven tactical aspects. No experience levels: your choices create the build.
Seeded node maps: battles, elites, camps, shops, treasure, narrative events and biome bosses. A fallen hero is gone for the rest of the expedition. A full wipe ends the run. Permanent unlocks expand future starting options.

Early Access
Early Access is planned to cover the first half of the descent: Acts 1 and 2 of 4 and their two bosses. The campaign stops after Act 2 in that version and cannot be completed there; Acts 3 and 4 and the ending arrive with 1.0.
Lead the four heroes alone, or split the party with a friend: two heroes each. The Next Fest demo has solo and two-player local co-op. Online co-op for two is planned for Early Access; co-op for up to four players and PvP are planned for 1.0. Plans may change with testing and player feedback.
Lamplight Studio is an independent game studio founded by Fernando Silva da Luz. We make dark-fantasy games about small companies of people who go somewhere they should not, carry a light, and pay for it.
VEKARRA is our first game. It is built in Unity on a deterministic, test-covered combat core, so any run can be reproduced, tuned and fixed.
